Holiday Toy Drive
Holiday toy drive and giving tree sign-up sheet
Donors claim a toy by age group or a tree tag, so you get gifts for every kid and not ten of the same one. Volunteers claim sorting, wrapping, and delivery on the same sheet.
Free. No credit card. Donors and volunteers sign up without an account.
What to put on the sheet
- One slot per age group, each capped so every age gets covered.
- The drop-off place, date, and hours, in the event description.
- A drop-off table shift so someone is there to take the toys.
- Sorting, wrapping, and delivery shifts, each with its own date and time.

Running a giving tree
Make each tag its own slot with room for 1. When a donor claims it, nobody else can, so two people never buy the same gift.
- Tag 14: girl, age 7, size 8 coat
- Tag 15: boy, age 4, building blocks
- Tag 16: teen, age 15, art supplies
Use age and size only. Never put a child's name on a tag.
Toy drive FAQ
Can I run a giving tree with this?
Yes. Make each tag its own slot with room for one, so two donors never buy the same gift.
Can volunteers sign up for shifts on the same sheet?
Yes. Each shift has its own time, and volunteers get a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before it starts.
Do donors need an account?
No. A name and email is all it takes.
Can I collect cash donations?
Use a separate sheet. On Pro, paid signup asks each person to pay a set amount to your own Venmo or PayPal, with no platform fees, so keep it off the toy sheet.
How do I get a list for the sort day?
Export the signups to CSV.
