Christmas volunteer sign-up sheet for services and caroling
Greeters, ushers, nursery, and candle helpers for every Christmas Eve service, plus caroling and the pageant. Volunteers claim the time they can do and get a reminder before it.

What to put on the sheet
- One slot per role per service, with the service time in the slot title.
- Caroling singers and drivers as separate slots, since drivers arrive early.
- Pageant costume and set helpers on the weekend before.
- A cookies and cocoa table after the early services.

Example slots
For pageant prep on Saturday, December 19, caroling on the 20th, and three Christmas Eve services. Set the event date to Christmas Eve. Each slot has its own time, so reminders go out 24 hours and 1 hour before it.

Room for 3. Sat Dec 19, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Caroling: singers
Room for 15. Sun Dec 20, 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Caroling: drivers
Room for 3. Sun Dec 20, 5:45 to 8:15 PM.
Christmas Eve 4:00 PM service
Greeters 4, ushers 4, nursery 3, candle helpers 2, parking 2. Arrive 3:30, done by 5:15 PM.
Christmas Eve 6:00 PM service
Greeters 4, ushers 4, nursery 3, candle helpers 2, parking 2. Arrive 5:30, done by 7:15 PM.
Christmas Eve 11:00 PM service
Greeters 3, ushers 3, candle helpers 2. Arrive 10:30 PM, done by 12:15 AM.
Cookies and cocoa after the 4:00 and 6:00 PM services
Room for 3. 5:00 to 7:30 PM.

Can I schedule several Christmas Eve services on one sheet?
Yes. Give each role its own slot with the service time, and volunteers claim only the time they can do.
Will volunteers get a reminder before their service?
Yes. They get an email 24 hours and 1 hour before their slot starts.
Do volunteers need an account?
No. They sign up with a name and email.
Can I reuse this next year?
Yes. Duplicate the event from your dashboard. The copy keeps your slots and settings, so you only change the dates.
Is it free for a church?
Yes. One active event with up to 100 signups is free, with no ads.
