Family dinner, office lunch, or church supper: each guest claims a dish, and a cap on every slot keeps the table from filling up with desserts.

What to put on the sheet
- The dinner time, plus a drop-off window so hot dishes arrive before people sit down.
- One slot per course, capped: mains, sides, bread, desserts, drinks.
- A line asking guests to name their dish and its allergens in the signup note.
- Plates, cups, napkins, and foil for the leftovers.
- A setup crew before dinner and a cleanup crew after.

Example slots
For a dinner at 6:00 PM. Each slot has its own time, so reminders go out 24 hours and 1 hour before it.
Setup
Room for 3. Tables, chairs, and serving spoons, 5:00 to 5:45 PM.
Main dish
Room for 4. Ham, turkey, lasagna, or a vegetarian main. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
Side or salad
Room for 6. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
Bread or rolls
Room for 2. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
Dessert
Room for 4. One dessert per family. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM. Cookie bakers have their own sheet.
Drinks and ice
Room for 2. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
Plates, cups, napkins, foil
Room for 2. Drop off 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
Cleanup
Room for 3. Dishes, trash, and leftovers, 7:30 to 8:15 PM.

Do guests need an account to sign up?
No. They pick a dish with a name and email.
Will people get a reminder to bring their dish?
Yes. Everyone gets an email 24 hours and 1 hour before their slot's start time.
Can I use this for an office lunch?
Yes. Move the slots to your lunch hour, for example 11:30 AM drop off and 12:00 PM lunch, and share the link in the office chat.
How do I keep track of allergies?
Ask people to list allergens in their note. You see every note on your dashboard and in the CSV export.
Does it work for a New Year's potluck?
Yes. Change the title and the date; the slots work the same way.
