Friendsgiving
Friendsgiving sign-up sheet
Friends claim a dish by category, name what they are bringing, and note their plus-one and any allergies. You get the whole menu and the head count in one list instead of scrolling the group chat.
Free. No credit card. Friends sign up without an account.
What to put on the sheet
- Dishes by category: mains, sides, appetizers, desserts, and drinks, each capped so you do not get five pies and no green vegetables.
- A plus-one line in the description: "Bringing someone? Put their name in your note."
- A dietary line: "List vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or nut and dairy allergies in your note."
- Arrival times: when the early crew shows up, when hot dishes need to be there, and when you sit down to eat.
- A small early crew and a cleanup crew, so the host is not the only one moving chairs at 11 PM.

Friendsgiving FAQ
How do I make a Friendsgiving sign-up sheet?
Start from this template, set the date and address, and share the link in the group chat. Each friend claims a slot in one dish category (main, side, appetizer, dessert, drinks) and names the dish in the note, so you can see the whole menu before anyone shops.
How do I handle plus-ones?
Put a line in the event description asking guests to add their plus-one's name to the signup note. The note shows next to their name on your signups list, so you can count chairs and plates. If you want the plus-one to bring a dish too, they claim their own slot.
Where do dietary notes go?
In the same note. Ask every guest to flag vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut or dairy allergies, both for what they bring and what they can eat. You see every note on your signups list, so you can check that at least one side works for each gluten-free guest before anyone shops.
How do I set arrival times?
Put the times in the event description: early crew at 4:00, hot dishes by 5:30, dinner at 6:00. The Early crew slot has the arrival time in its name, so the two people who claim it know to come first. Everyone who signs up gets an email reminder 24 hours before and again 1 hour before the start time.
Who is cooking where?
If several dishes need the host's oven, pair this sheet with the Thanksgiving oven schedule so two casseroles do not show up needing 375 degrees at the same time.
Is it free?
Yes, with no ads on the page your friends open, and they sign up without an account. This template has room for 21 signups, inside the free plan's 100 signups per event. The free plan runs one live event at a time; running a second event at the same time is a Pro feature.
