Cleanup Day

Community cleanup sign-up with zones that get finished

Give each crew a patch of park or sidewalk. Bags and haul-away need their own slots.

What to put on the sheet

  • Give an exact spot and time. "Saturday at the park" gets you arrivals an hour apart.
  • Named zones. A map in the description helps if the park has more than one entrance.
  • Supplies as their own slots. Gloves disappear first.
  • Water in summer. Give the cooler its own slot.
  • Haul-away. Bags left by the dumpster overnight get torn open by raccoons.
  • What to wear and what not to pick up (needles, unknown chemicals). Put that in the description.

Example slots

Zone A, park and playground

6 spots. Litter, beds, and the area around the benches.

Zone B, sidewalks

6 spots. Curb, sidewalk, and the strip by the road.

Zone C, creek or drain

4 spots. Wear boots. Leave glass for the haul crew.

Supplies

3 spots. Bags, gloves, grabbers. Write what you will bring.

Water and check-in

2 spots. One table, a cooler, a sign-in sheet for the city if they ask.

Haul-away

2 spots. Truck or trailer for bags at the end.

Cleanup signup FAQ

How do I organize a community cleanup sign-up?

Start from this template, name the park or street, and share the link on the neighborhood page. People pick a zone or a supply slot. On Pro, you can describe the morning instead ("Saturday park cleanup, three zones, gloves and a haul truck") and Create With AI drafts the slots for you.

Why split the park into zones?

If everyone walks the same path, the playground looks great and the creek still has bottles. Zones give people a patch they own for two hours. Caps keep twenty people from claiming the easy lawn.

What supplies should I ask for?

Gloves, contractor bags, and a few grabbers. Ask your city about free bags a week out. Put water on its own slot so it is not an afterthought in July.

Do neighbors need an account to sign up?

No. They open the link, pick a zone, and type a name and email. No password and no app.

Is the cleanup sign-up free?

Yes. The free plan holds up to 100 signups per event, and this template uses 23 spots. A bigger day needs Pro ($99/year) for unlimited signups. Confirmed signups get an email 24 hours before and again an hour before, and the page they open has no ads.
