What to put on the sheet

  • The date and room in the event description, so nobody walks to the wrong hallway.
  • Write the clock times in the slot titles, not "Slot 3." Fifteen minutes is the usual school night.
  • A break after the first hour if you want water or a late parent to catch up.
  • One family per time. A second adult can ride along in the name field.
  • A note about virtual vs in-person if some meetings are on a video link.
  • How to cancel. Every reminder email has a one-tap cancel link, and the event page lets you cancel after you sign up.

Conference signup FAQ

How do I make a parent-teacher conference sign-up sheet?

Start from this template, set the night, add one slot per conference time ("3:30 to 3:45"), and post the link in the class newsletter or the parent group chat. Parents tap a slot and type their name and email. On Pro, you can describe the night instead ("third-grade conferences, 3:30 to 6:00, 15 minutes each") and Create With AI drafts the slots for you.

How long should each conference slot be?

Fifteen minutes is the usual school night. Some teachers use 20. Write the clock times in each slot title so parents see exactly when they are booked. If you need a breath between families, leave a gap in the list instead of stacking them.

Can two parents share one slot?

Yes. One person types both names in the name field, or the second parent adds a note. The slot still counts as one signup. If you want each adult on the sheet, add a second spot on that time.

Do parents need an account to pick a time?

No. They open your link, pick a time, and type a name and email. No password and no app.

Is the conference sign-up free?

Yes. The free plan holds up to 100 signups per event, and this template uses 8 spots, so one class night fits. Parents get an email reminder 24 hours before the event and again an hour before, and the page they sign up on has no ads.
