August Sober Sisters Potluck and Bunco – NO MORE VACANCIES
August 8 Event – NO MORE VACANCIES Bunco is an easy, friendly game played with dice, learned in minutes. From now through April 2027, we have more Sober Sisters Potluck and Bunco Saturdays scheduled: * September 12, 2026 (host: Nicki C) * October 17, 2026 - dress up optional (host: Joanne D) * January 16, 2027 (host: ??) * February 20, 2027 (host: ??) * March 13, 2027 (host: ??) * April 10, 2027 (host: ??) The August 8th Saturday event will be hosted by Nancy W. We need volunteers to host some of the remaining nights. Read below to get a bit more info about signing up and participating, and, if you are inclined, hosting. *** If you want to host on an open date not yet open for sign up, please contact Nancy or Nicki by text with the date you desire. (Nicki C 248-269-3115 / Nancy W 248-909-0585) *** Participants responsibilities: * Sign up for one or all the dates. It is up to you. * If there are no openings, use the waitlist option to stay informed. * There is room for 11 participants and one host each night. * When you sign up to participate, you are responsible for also paying a $7.00 fee into the pot via VENMO (@Nicole-Caso-1). It will be $7.00 for each night you participate. * On the night of the Bunco Potluck, show up at the designated time and place with a dish to pass according to what you signed up to bring. * Plan to sup, play Bunco, laugh, enjoy some dessert, and get to know people. * You may even win some money. * Coffee, tea, and water are provided. If you would like a soft drink, bring your own. * If you find you cannot attend, you are responsible for finding a substitute. This can include calling on other participants and asking for their assistance. * Should you be unable to attend, you will forfeit your $7.00 fee to your substitute. Hosts are responsible to provide: * a location with adequate room and furniture to set up three tables, each seating four people * a kitchen area and bathroom * a place to spread out the potluck dishes and beverages * paper plates, cups, and plastic ware * beverages: water bottles, tea bags, and coffee plus fixings * If you do not have enough tables or chairs, please contact other participants to assist * Perk!
